PICK Marrakech-Menara airport: picking up your rental car
Marrakech-Menara airport (code RAK) is only a few kilometres from the city centre. With a car delivered when you land, you reach your hotel or riad in minutes. Here is how it works, step by step.
Before your flight
Choose your car on the website and send the request on WhatsApp with your dates and your flight's arrival time. We confirm availability and the price. If your flight time changes, let us know on WhatsApp.
When you land
- After customs and baggage, the arrivals hall has cash machines and mobile operator shops where you can buy a Moroccan SIM card.
- A local SIM card is handy for GPS and for reaching us on WhatsApp.
- Send us a message once you are out: the car is handed over to you at the airport.
At the handover
- Walk around the car with us and take photos of the bodywork.
- Check the fuel level written on the contract.
- Show your driving licence (held for at least 2 years) and your passport or ID card.
- Read and sign the rental contract.
Delivery and collection at the airport are free, as is delivery to your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
From the airport to the city
By car, Guéliz, Hivernage and the gates of the Medina are a few minutes away. In the Medina, alleys are often pedestrian, so ask your riad where to park.
Returning the car
You can return the car at the airport before your flight, or at your hotel. Bring it back with the same fuel level and allow a few minutes for the check before check-in.
